Leading Italian systems integrator Italtel has added the MaxPatrol Compliance and Vulnerability solution from Positive Technologies to its portfolio of Integrated Security solutions. This reseller partnership was a result of the successful deployment of MaxPatrol in Italtel’s own Security Operations Center (SOC) - to meet its internal security and compliance needs.
Italtel operates in 40 countries and provides services to many large enterprises in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America including fixed and mobile telecommunications operators, state-owned organizations and large corporations.
The company selected MaxPatrol because of its ability to carry out automated remote scanning and its capabilities in both vulnerability assessment and compliance management, in a single solution. Italtel was also impressed with MaxPatrol’s flexible reporting capabilities and its support for a wide- range of IT platforms including Windows, Linux, MS SQL, Cisco network equipment and various office applications including email, browsers and instant messaging.
